Ralph Visits the Rotary Club

Ralph Garcia was selected to attend the Rotary Club Old Pueblo Tucson's weekly meeting.  

Ralph said he enjoyed his time and is really interested in the college Rotary.

CROSS COUNTRY: Flowing Wells & Nogales win at Los Mezquites

The Los Mezquites Cross Country Invitational hosted by Sunnyside and ran at Kennedy Park have had teams such as Nogales, Flowing Wells, St, Augustine, Cholla and Sahuarita remain the constant in the field with the girls from Nogales winning back-to-back titles and the boys from Flowing Wells improving from second last year to champions on Saturday September 23rd. 

Juan Miranda won the boys race with a time of 18:05.6.  The Flowing Wells boys took 1st place and the girls came in 2nd place.

FCCLA Brings Home Top Medals

The Family, Career and Community Leaders of America held their National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee from July 1-7, 2017. Flowing Wells High was represented by six fashion design students in competitions, leadership workshops and student networking events.

Syerra Rogers was the top scoring participant in the senior division of Fashion Construction. She was awarded a $3000 scholarship from the Art Institutes and a full, one year scholarship to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Graphic Design Competition

JTED@FW's top designers traveled to Pima Community College for the Tucson Area High School Graphic Design Championships. Our team of Nate, Jonah and Griselda made some quality work and came in 4th place overall.

Environmental Science students took a field trip to the Santa Cruz River to complete the Living River of Words Program with Pima County Natural Resource Parks and recreation.
