Grad Night

Let's Party!

Flowing Wells Grad Night is May 24, 2017, from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

What is Grad Night?

Grad Night is an all-night, drug and alcohol-free celebration for Flowing Wells graduating seniors. Grad Night begins after graduation 9:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Grad Night is a time for the graduating class to be together for one last time. Only Flowing Wells graduates can attend Grad Night – no friends from other schools or underclassmen. Enjoy music, dancing, casino games, outdoor activities, live entertainment, food, refreshments, huge raffle prizes, and cash! It promises to be an unforgettable night for our seniors!

Who Sponsors Grad Night?

Parents and volunteers provide the energy, creativity, time, and hard work. Financing comes from community donations, fundraisers, and senior ticket sales.

Buy a Ticket

All of the fun -- dinner, music, dancing, entertainment, casino games, prizes, and unlimited food and drink – is included in the ticket price. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.

To buy a ticket, print out and complete the registration form, and turn it in to the counseling office at the high school.

Many of the games and entertainers for the Grad Night celebration require deposits in advance to reserve them. Just about every high school hosts a sober Grad Night, and we all seem to compete with each other for entertainers, casino games, and inflatables (large obstacle courses, human foosball, sumo wrestling, etc.). We need to reserve the games and entertainment early by putting down deposits or we will have a difficult time finding them. We need funds now! By buying your student’s Grad Night ticket early, you will help provide the funds to ensure we have the best games and entertainment we can find.

100% of all donations go toward funding the party and the graduates!

Parent Volunteers

The goal of the event is to provide a fun, safe, supervised, and sober graduation celebration for all Flowing Wells graduating seniors. We know that our FW Seniors will want to celebrate with their friends on the night of their graduation. We want to make that celebration spectacular….and safe. The event  involves food, entertainment, prizes (including cash), a casino, and lots of fun and huge inflatable games, just to mention a few.

How big an event, where it is, and what is offered is totally up to us – the Grad Night committee members. While Flowing Wells High School supports the event and often time partners with parent volunteers to ensure the event’s success, this event will not happen without the participation of the parents of Flowing Wells School District!

Why It Is So Important

If this alcohol free celebration can prevent one alcohol related arrest, injury, or worse yet, death, then the extensive effort to plan and fund it will have been well worth it – for both our Flowing Wells graduates and the community in general. If we can gather the resources to make Flowing Wells Safe & Sober Grad Night spectacular, more students will attend - more students will spend the evening of their graduation safe and sober.

How You Can Help

Help plan the event! Monthly planning meetings are held at the high school – for date, time, and location information please call Marie Daily, 440-6949. Consider volunteering to chair a committee, be a member of a committee, offer your ideas, etc. Just show up at any one or all of the meetings...we need help.

The Grad Night celebration usually begins at 9:30 p.m. and ends at 5:30 a.m. We need adult volunteers to help during the event! Volunteers might work in the Casino, supervise the inflatable games, serve food, etc. You can work a two-hour shift or stay all night…..it really is fun! Anyone over 21 years of age are welcome to chaperone.

Please help us put on the best Flowing Wells Grad Night ever!

Fundraising

We have several fundraisers already in the planning stage… more details will be available at the monthly meetings. If you have ideas or are willing to help with a fundraiser, we need you!

Help Raise Funds

We want to offer the best celebration we can at the least cost to the students. Ticket sales only account for about a third of the funds needed to put on the event. Fundraisers are key to providing the necessary funds. If we can raise enough money, we can keep ticket prices low.

We Need Donations!

Requests for donations go out every year to local Flowing Wells businesses. We also look to FW families for donations. Consider making a donation to fund Grad Night. We are a non-profit organization so donations are tax deductible. To make a donation download the donation form under Important Info on the right side of this page or call Gael Crocker 696-8152.
